Congratulations Allison Campbell! UBC Killam Teaching Prize in Medicine Recipient

Congratulations to Allison Campbell on being awarded the 2023/2024 UBC Killam Teaching Prize in Medicine. This is well-deserved recognition for her teaching excellence! (Nominated by UBC Midwifery Director Kellie Thiessen.)

The Killam Trusts have been supporting graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty members across Canada since 1965. At UBC, the Trusts offer doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships, teaching awards, and recognition for outstanding emeriti, among other means. Over 2,000 UBC professors, fellows, students, and scholars have benefited from the Trusts.

The Killam Teaching Prize is awarded annually to faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in teaching. The recipients are recognized at graduation ceremonies. Each faculty member at the UBC Vancouver campus and the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic at the UBC Okanagan campus adjudicate the prize.
